Lisa Salters, an American NBA sideline reporter who has been working for ESPN since 2000, does not have a husband but lives in Nashville with her partner, Stephanie White.

Born March 6, 1966, Lisa started her career as a broadcast journalist in 1995, prior to becoming a sportscaster.

She has also hosted ESPN’s coverage of the 2006 Winter Olympics from Italy and ESPN’s coverage of the 2002 FIFA World Cup.

Salters also co-produces ABC’s coverage of the NBA and ESPN’s Monday Night Football.

Lisa Salters and Her Partner, Stephanie White Have Four Kids

Lisa Salters adopted her son, Samuel Salters, back in 2013, prior to meeting Stephanie.

On the other hand, Stephanie has three sons, the eldest of which is Landon, born in 2011, and twin boys Aiden and Avery, born in 2013.

Stephanie White is an American former professional basketball player and the head coach of the WNBA’s Connecticut Sun, who was previously married to Brent McCarty.

They married in 1998 but got divorced in 2002. Then, in 2015, she publicly acknowledged her sexual orientation and got married to Michelle Fletcher. However, they parted ways, too.

Lisa and Stephanie have made no official announcements, but frequently, Stephanie White posts pictures of them together.

She has posted pictures of them together on date nights, at charity events, at live games, and at school functions for their kids as well.

Stephane, the then-Indiana coach, came forth proudly to advocate same-sex marriages.

She mentioned in an interview with Indianapolis Business Journal in 2015,

“I am the same Stephanie White ,the person who was married to a man as Stephanie White the person who is married to a woman. If you can get people who may not know or don’t know they know someone in a same-sex relationship to have an appreciation for a person versus the type of relationship they’re in, I think it hits home. And more than anything, because I have kids, and I want my kids to see the world through a little bigger lens. I want my kids to see our family the same as any other family.”

Stephanie White Recently Took A Break From Coaching Due To A Family Emergency

The Connecticut coach recently mentioned that she focuses more on a family emergency than her professional future.

Stephanie was previously head coach of the Vanderbilt Commodores women’s basketball team from 2016 to 2021 and the Indiana Fever from the 2015 and 2016 seasons.

She has been the head coach of the Connecticut Sun for the last two seasons.

Additionally, White has been involved in broadcasting channels like Big Ten Network, ESPN, and FOX Sports Indiana.

She appears regularly on Big Ten Network’s women’s basketball studio show and analyzes women’s college games on ESPN.

During the 2013-2014 NBA season, she also worked as an anchor with FOX Sports Indiana, covering the Indiana Pacers.

White didn’t disclose the emergency and mentioned that she is not having conversations about anything outside of my family.

She gave an interview via Zoom with tears in her eyes,

“My priority is my family right now. Honestly, just being here for my family getting through this, that’s my priority.”
